Excursion 1 – Battle & Lewes
Step back in time with a fabulous day out in Battle 🏰, the picturesque town built around the abbey on the site of the Battle of 1066. Wander through historic streets, browse independent shops, browse art galleries and craft shops. 🎨 and take in the atmosphere.
In the afternoon, we continue to Lewes – a charming market town filled with medieval streets, ancient churches ⛪, and hidden twittens (Sussex’s word for alleyways). Stroll along the riverside, admire the castle views, and discover independent boutiques and cosy cafés. 🌿or simply relax in Southover Grange Gardens, a colourful and peaceful public garden. 🌸
Excursion 2 – Brighton
Experience the vibrant seaside city of Brighton 🌊, known for its graceful Regency architecture and the exotic iron-domed Royal Pavilion. Explore the quirky maze of The Lanes 🛍️ with its antiques, jewellery, and unique finds. Take a stroll along the pier, relax on the pebble beach, or ride the historic Volk’s Electric Railway – the oldest electric seafront
