Day 1 – Ilfracombe & Barnstaple

We begin with a visit to the charming coastal town of Ilfracombe 🌊, known for its stunning harbour, dramatic cliffs, and sweeping coastal views. You can enjoy a stroll along the seafront and harbour, admire the striking Verity sculpture by Damien Hirst, and wander the pretty Victorian streets and gardens.

In the afternoon, we continue to Barnstaple, North Devon’s largest town. Here you could browse the historic Pannier Market (on market days), enjoy a riverside walk along the Taw, or take in the town’s attractive architecture and bustling high street. There are also plenty of spots for a leisurely coffee or a Devon cream tea.

Day 2 – Tiverton

Today we explore the delightful market town of Tiverton 🏞️. Take a scenic walk along the Grand Western Canal Country Park, enjoy the peaceful People’s Park, or explore the town centre’s historic buildings and charming independent shops. You might also enjoy a riverside stroll to take in the natural beauty of this relaxing Mid Devon location.
