Excursion: Enjoy a fabulous day out in Battle - the beautiful town is built around the abbey which was erected on the site of the battle of 1066. Afterwards, we visit the intriguing Lewes - its medieval streets, old English churches and tiny twittens (a Sussex word for alleyway) allows visitors to glimpse into the true essence of bygone Lewes.

Excursion: Brighton - Famous for its graceful Regency buildings including the exotic iron-domed Royal Pavilion. The electric railway is the oldest electric seafront railway in Britain - explore the enticing series of narrow streets, The Lanes, have many delightful small shops.

The Lansdowne Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Eastbourne. Family-owned since 1912 - Situated on the seafront, and opposite the Western Lawns the perfect location for a hotel in Eastbourne.
